Curling is a game of strategy, tactics and skill. The strategy depends on the team's skill, the opponent's skill, the conditions of the ice, the score of the game, how many ends remain and whether the team has last-stone advantage. Kelowna 2011 will be offering curling as one of the many sports for young athletes to compete in. Each participating city may enter a maximum of two curling teams, one boy's and one girl's. Unfortunately due to low registration we have to cancel our novice division. All curling teams will be grouped together in either the boys or girls division. As the spirit of the games is based on cultural exchange and sportsmanship we expect a fun games that celebrates the diversity of all participants.
